Tephrocactus articulatus

Place of origin: Argentina, province of Mendoza.

Description: The plant is conformed by ovoid or spherical segments of grayish green color and about 5 cm. long and 4 cm. wide.
The areolas are felted and present abundant brown glochids.
The spines are 1 or 4, between 3 and 10 cm. long and up to 1 cm. wide. They are whitish, soft, curved and folded.
The flowers are clear yellow, measure about 3.5 wide cm. and about 2 cm. long.

Growing tips: Requires full sun and moderate watering. Propagation is made by rooting articles.
