Rebutia marsoneri
Werdermann

Place of origin: Northwest of Argentina.

Description: The plant presents clear body, of up to 7 cm. wide and usually is clumped abundantly.
The tubercles are arranged as an helix and over them are arranged the areolas, distanced about 5 mm. from each other.
The spines are 25, of about 2 cm. long, and it is not possible to tell which ones are radial and which ones are central.
The flowers are 5.5 cm. wide and are of intense red color.

Growing tips: It is recommended to respect the winter rest of this species, since this will result in abundant flowering. It is important to start watering when the first symptoms of budding, since the early waterings, as elevated temperatures during the dormancy period, will make the plant produce many offsets and no flowers.
