Place of origin: Northwest of Argentina.

Description: The species presents globular stem, but it can be slightly extended too. It have white wool on apex and measures about 8 cm. wide
The ribs are divided as an helix in protuberances.
The radial spines are white, very thin and they are 50. The central spines are 4, one of them is hooked, white or orange color and with the dark end.
The flowers appear in the upper part of the plant and last several days. They are yellow or orange color and measure between 3 and 5 cm. wide.

Growing tips: The species grows better with partial shade. propagation is made by seeds.
