Cephalium measures about 3 cm. high and between 6 and 7 cm. wide. The part with new growings is covered by white wool densely, and is mixed with the red wool from the older parts.
The flowers are of red color and measure about 2 cm. long and between 6 and 7 cm. wide.
The fruits are red color or violet pink.

Growing tips: Like the other species from this genus, this plant hard to grow because it is very sensitive to humidity and cold. It requires porous well drained soil and winter heat.
