Lophophora diffusa
(Croizat) Bravo Hollis

Buy this plant

Place of origin: Mexico, state of Queretaro.

Description: The species have axonomorphic root and yellowish green globular stem, of about 10 cm. wide when the plant is adult.
The stem lacks of ribs and spines.
The flowers are funnel shaped and are generally white color, pink-white or yellow.
The fact that these plants are not abundant in their habitat, added to that most of the studies made on this one species have been carried out in specimens cultivated from seeds, explains why there is still much uncertainty about its classification and allocation.

Growing tips: The species can not stand frost. It requires well drained soil and and partial shade.
