Espostoa nana

Espostoa

There are 16 species of Espostoa from the Peruvian and Ecuatorial Andes. The name of the genus, remembers Nicolas Esposto, Peruvian botanic of the National School of Agriculture of Lima.
Extremely high or low temperatures must be avoided with the plants from this genus. Also they need very well drained soil.
Mature plants have pseudocephalium on their side, from where the flowers, which open at night, appear. They are funnel shaped and white or pink.
