Escobaria is a small genus of plants from southwest of the United
States. It is related with Coryphantha and a little far with Mammillaria.
The flowers are small, funnel shaped and are generally of yellow,
pink or brownish color. The genus requires porous, well drained
soil and must be watered with moderation.
