Mexico, state of Tamaulipas.
Description: The body of the plant is ovoid,
it has 8 cm. high and 6 cm. wide. We can find this plant densely
clumped.
Tubercles are of shining green color and up to 1 cm. long.
In its armpits they show some wool.
Spines are about 30 or 35 and up to 1 cm. long. They are radial,
thin and similar to hairs. The central spines are yellow,
they have needle shape and their size is up to 1.8 cm. long.
Flowers are very scented and have greenish yellow sepals and
yellow.
Growing tips: This plant does better in
light shade. Propagation is made by seeds or by rooting offsets. |
