Ariocarpus trigonus

Place of origin: North of Mexico, state of Nuevo Leon.

Description: It is a small plant of approximately 10 cm., which have a heavy axonomorfic root. The tubercles are acute, triangular, the internal part is flattened and the external one cleared. They are greenish gray or green olive colored. They are between 3.5 and 5 cm. long. In the proximities of apex an areola is arranged. The flowers appear in the base of tubercles, near the center of the plant. They have approximately 5 cm. wide, are very numerous and its color is yellowish.

Growing tips: Little watering and porous substrate.
